We picked Dad up from the airport on Friday night. After A LOT of tea at Vin's dad's house we made it back to our place by late, late in the night. Atticus knows that from visitor's suitcases comes wonderful things, so he was eager to help Dad unpack. They played a bit of 'cars' before bed and then we all shuffled off to bed by 2 am.
The grandpas...
...in the third picture here Atticus is watching TV with his finger not only in his button but also in Dillon's. He's multi-tasking.
On Saturday Dad and I took the boys to the Children's Museum. I'd never been there before and didn't really know what to expect, but it was fun for the most part. Atticus would see a certain object, like a golf ball, and not be able to stray from it and do anything else. He also thought the play food in the pretend supermarket was real and kept asking me to give him some grapes. I think it's more intended for a bit older kids as he wouldn't have anything to do with most of the areas, but it was raining outside so it was a good way for him to let off some steam.
Dillon was more agreeable in the dress-up area, Atticus would have nothing to do with it...
Dad's been working at his girlish figure while here...
Our little scholar...
Set up the projector last night and watched 'American Gangster' on the big screen. We've been hanging out in the house all day since we're having a pretty big typhoon today, but hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to head out.
